You’re Not the Only One

Women’s only support group is for people with anxiety and mood problems.  This group offers tools, insight and feedback, all while in a supportive atmosphere.  It provides information you need to better understand yourself and others.  If you are feeling isolated or like no one understands, join this group.  It will help you feel stronger and supported by women who have been there.  This group uses laughter as a coping skill, it’s worth a try!
Every Tuesday 5:30pm – 6:45pm

Getting & Staying Sober

This interactive group therapy is for people with a dual diagnosis of mental health (anxiety/depression, etc.) and addiction.  It offers support, guidance and education to help prevent relapse. It teaches new ways of thinking and coping with sober life.  This all-in-one group was developed for people who want psycho-education, open discussion, supportive feedback and to have fun while getting healthier.  Bring your sense of humor and your healthy mind-set. New members always welcome!

Every Wednesday  6:30pm – 7:45pm

Retirement isn’t as Easy as it Looks

This group is for retirees 50+ years old.  It provides a fun and healthy environment to connect with other people and to get support with the difficulties surrounding later life.  Many mature adults don’t get the support they need and there’s a wonderful benefit to connecting with other people who understand the challenges you face.  New members are always welcomed with warmth.

Caregivers Need Care Too

A caregiving role is a complicated role to be in. There is a battle of wanting to help those we love, but also feeling a longing to have our own lives. We put our lives on hold and give it all we have, but are often still left feeling guilty and lonely. This group offers support to people who need to feel connected to others and to have a safe place to express the challenges we face as a caregiver. This group also provides tools to help caregivers practice self-care while caring for those they love.

LGBTIQ Group Therapy

After having worked with multiple transgender people in individual sessions, we noticed that there is a need for this group therapy.  The resources are limited for this population and yet the challenges are unlike any other population. We believe that having other people to relate to and to find a way to empower people in the LGBTIQ community is a vital component of encouraging acceptance of difference.  Also, we are focused on the person’s well-being without concerns about a label.
Every Wednesday 8 PM – 9 PM

MEN’S Support Group.

We are thrilled when we see men come to group.  It takes bravery and determination to want to change a perspective.  This group is for men to discuss the stress related to pressures they face.  You will have a chance to process your thoughts, while learning the psychology behind your thoughts and behaviors.
Every Tuesday 7 PM – 8 PM

Chronic Pain is Real Pain!

Pain often overwhelms people.  We have noticed that people with chronic pain often focus on their pain and forget that they are more than their pain.  This group is to help people to remember that they still have a life outside of a doctor’s office (no offense doctors). We will process our feelings, understand the pain and become more savvy at managing the thoughts regarding the pain.

Teen Girls Support Group

Today’s society is taking a toll on girls’ confidence and self-esteem. They tend to internalize their feelings and emotions, making it difficult for adults to know that they are struggling. We want our girls to feel safe enough to voice their thoughts, feelings, emotions, in a judgement-free environment.  Teens usually turn to other teens for advice.  This group offers a constructive, unbiased adult perspective on issues, to foster growth.  This support group is for girls between the ages of 13 and 17.  Some topics covered are, building self-esteem, setting boundaries, implementing assertive communication skills, and creating healthy relationships.
