Children are filled with wonder and enthusiasm, but also a naivety that makes it difficult for them to process their feelings. Children behave in different ways than adults when they experience stress. Often, as the adult we get so swept up in our own emotions, that we fail to remember that our children may be struggling too. They go into the next stages of their lives not having learned the skills to overcome discomfort. Therefore, we see therapy for our children is an investment for their future health.
