Kimberly Morgan-Guggenheim MSW
Kimberly is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern in the state of Florida currently working toward clinical licensure, she has an LSW in New Jersey and an LMSW in New York.
She has a master of science in social work from Columbia University in New York City. & a degree in sociology from Rutgers University in NJ.
Kimberly is an outcomes oriented, integrative client centered therapist trained in TF-CBT, Structural Family Therapy and currently training for the EMDR Certification. She offers skills in CBT, DBT, play therapy and helping people through the process and journey of loss/grief, trauma and recovery and coaches client’s through the process to achieve goals that are important to them.
She offers an emotionally focused, individualized approach that is tailored to each client’s needs. She strives to offer client’s consistent unconditional positive regard, acceptance, and her training allows her to see client’s through a strengths-based lens. She desires and seeks to get client’s feedback frequently about client’s perspective of how they are experiencing the therapeutic process as evidence shows this is a priority to create a “right fit/feel” atmosphere for clients to achieve their goals. She strives to tweak sessions to accommodate client’s comfortability with sessions.
She loves to work with clients of all developmental phases, 0-5, 6-18, young adults, Middle age and older adults, end of life.
Kimberly loves to engage with friends, family and community. She adores music and art. She has enjoyed physical activities and sports throughout her life as well as travel, learning, and passionately exploring new ideas and concepts and people.
